I have a Rhode Island Red who I got from my sister back in august of 2020. It’s now April and she is over a year old. She has not laid a single egg. Stress free environment, complete feed nutrition,I did switch her feed to a 20% protein just in case, always supplied with water, even has toys to play with. She won’t even go into the brooding boxes or acknowledge the ceramic fake eggs I put in. Unsure of what to do next.

I put a light in with my chickens during the winter and noticed they started laying more eggs.
Probably simulates spring time with more daylight.
    Good luck.
